What a 2nd Life rebuild covers.
A rebuild is not a repair with a bigger invoice. The machine comes apart, the worn systems are replaced rather than adjusted, and it goes back to work rated for the job it was bought to do.
- Driveline. Engine, transmission, oil coolers, axles and final drives.
- Undercarriage. Rails, pads, rollers, idlers and sprockets, pressed and assembled to manufacturer specification on our own track press.
- Structure. Cracked frames, C-frames, push arms and pin bores, welded full penetration and reinforced so the same spot does not fail twice.
- Wear surfaces. Cutting edges, end bits, teeth and guards, with tungsten carbide hard facing where it earns its keep.
- Electrical. Wiring harness and everything that runs through it.
Shop or field, whichever costs you less.
Dozers, wheel loaders, graders, scrapers, rollers and Class 8 trucks all come through the same shop on Broadway SE. Where the machine is too big or too far to move, the mobile track press does undercarriage work at your site, and on a large dozer not floating the machine is most of the saving on its own.
We work on all makes and models. Bring us the components and we assemble, deliver and install, or hand us the whole machine and take it back working.
